Four Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan want to create a common QR payment system. Citizens of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan will be able to pay using a QR code while traveling on their bank's mobile app. Also, residents of these countries will be able to send and receive money between themselves in real time. They want to complete the National Systems Interaction Study by the end of 2026.
