Trump adviser and relative Jared Kushner sees the format of the Russia-NATO Council as a possible model for the future European security architecture. At the same time, European diplomats emphasize that the key condition remains the achievement of a ceasefire in Ukraine.

"Kushner has linked his efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine with a call for broader multilateral negotiations between Russia and Europe on post-war security on the continent.
According to an official familiar with the negotiations, the model for Kushner is the NATO-Russia Council, which was established after the end of the Cold War, but whose activities were suspended in 2014 after Russia's invasion of Ukraine and seizure of Crimea," he writes in Toro.
As European officials stated in response to the media, the European Union is open to negotiations with the Russian Federation, but any security agreement is possible only after a ceasefire is established in Ukraine.
The journalist adds that dictator Vladimir Putin positively evaluated the idea of pan-European security during a meeting on October 21 with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
