‼ The court in Sweden held Sviatash in custody: he wants to go to Russia instead of extradition to Ukraine, - mass media A court in Sweden held in custody the former deputy of Dmytro Sviatash, who was sentenced in his absence to 12 years in prison for justifying Russia's war against Ukraine and fraud in the amount of 2.2 billion hryvnias. This was done as part of the extradition procedure at the request of Ukraine. This is written in the minutes of the court meeting from November 5, reports the project "Schemes" ("Liberty Radio"). Svyatash was personally present at the meeting. During the meeting he denied the suspicions of committing crimes in Ukraine and asked to cancel the arrest. His lawyer also stated that the former deputy of the People's Republic opposes extradition to Ukraine and wants to return to Russia. The court decided to keep Svyatash in extradition detention and ordered him to be transferred to the Solanton Pretrial Detention Center. The decision is not subject to appeal, but within three weeks the former deputy for national affairs may request a new meeting to examine the contraceptive measures.
