Mindykh's lawyer stated that he cannot return to Ukraine because of Zhelezniak's statement. The oligarch Timur Mindich, who is suspected of corruption, involved in the "Meads" case, cannot return to Ukraine because of the statements of People's Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak. This is what the businessman's lawyer Vladislav Tepliuk said during the court hearing in Mindich's lawsuit against Zhelezniak, Shana reports. According to Tepliak, on his YouTube and Telegram channels, Zhelezniak not only expressed his opinion, but reported on allegedly established facts, the truth of which can be verified. According to him, statements of this type, unlike the value judgments, can be subject to judicial rebuttal. The lawyer pointed out that the court did not give a guilty verdict against Mindich, which came into effect, therefore he cannot be considered guilty of criminal offenses being investigated by law enforcement officials. As an example, the lawyer pointed to Zelzniak's use of the words "gang", "robber" and "robber". According to Tepliuk, such formulations, according to them, create the impression among viewers and readers that Mindich's involvement in crimes has already been proven, although the criminal proceedings are still ongoing. Mindich's lawyer says that the MP's statements damaged his client's reputation and harmed his honor and dignity, and because of this, apparently, he cannot return to Ukraine. Tepliuk also called the situation surrounding the businessman "a large-scale propaganda campaign of looting honor and dignity" and stated that Zelzniak's publications became part of it. Zhelezniak's defense attorney could not speak, as he had to attend another court session. As you may remember, the one involved in the "Meads" case, the oligarch Timur Mindich, filed three lawsuits against People's Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak.
Mindich demands to refute the words of the deputy about him and to pay him moral compensation. And we are on Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik-Tok, YouTube.
