Lublin Region dissolves the partnership with Lviv Region due to the decision on the UPA year The Lublin Region Seimas in Poland voted unanimously to terminate the partnership with the Lviv Region. The reason was the decision of the Lviv Regional Council to declare 2027 as the year of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA). RMF24 writes about it. All 30 Seimas delegates, who were present at the meeting, voted in favor of concluding the agreement on economic, trade, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. The partnership agreement between the Lublin district and the Lviv region has been in effect since 2004. Lublin district marshal, Jaroslav Stabiarski, who represents the "Law and Justice" party, said that he does not support cooperation with those who, in his opinion, "glorify criminals."
