The men of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Third Corps conducted an extremely difficult two-day operation to evacuate 8 civilians from enemy fire in Liman. The operation began after the soldiers of Company G of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion successfully carried out their main combat mission. After learning about the trapped civilians, the army organized a rescue mission that lasted two days and took place under conditions of continuous Russian ambushes and continuous attacks by enemy drones. In the final phase of the evacuation, the group was discovered and attacked by a Russian FPV drone. One of the servants took the hit on himself, and covered the body of the citizens. The hero was seriously injured, but saved people's lives. Thanks to the operational actions of the patrol squad, it was possible to evacuate the wounded soldier in time and provide medical assistance.
