Local council deputies topped the list of officials with declaration violations in the nine months of 2026. The NAKC completed 653 full declaration inspections selected according to a risk-oriented approach. Of all the statements reviewed since the beginning of the year, the most violations were found in the documents submitted by the representatives: of local self-governing bodies - in 156 statements. Of these, 123 were submitted by local council deputies, including 12 regional council deputies; National Police of Ukraine - in 24 statements; State enterprises - in 17 statements. Nine of them were submitted by managers or their deputies, three by deputy managers, one more by the chief accountant. The largest share of confirmed violations based on the results of checks of officials' statements was recorded in the following regions: Volyn region - in 8 out of 9 verified statements (89%); Zhytomyr region - in 12 out of 15 (80%); Khmelnytskyi region - in 15 out of 19 (79%); Dnipropetrovsk region - in 56 out of 73 (77%); Harson region - in 13 out of 17 (76%).
