An agent of the Russian Federation was detained who placed GPS trackers on tankers in order to identify the coordinates of the oil depots in the south for further attacks - SBU.

In Odessa, the SBU detained a 20-year-old Russian agent who installed GPS trackers on fuel tankers in order to identify the location of oil depots for further Russian Federation missile and UAV strikes. According to the investigation, the suspect installed at least two devices with remote access to Russian special services: in a military gas station and in a civilian fuel truck. Therefore, the enemy planned to track the refueling points of the transport and determine the coordinates of the fuel storage facilities. The agent turned out to be a former student of Odessa University, recruited through Telegram. He first documented the aftermath of Russian attacks on Odessa, and later was tasked with searching for oil depots. The SBU discovered and dismantled the trackers in advance. Arrest was informed of suspicion of treason. He is being held without bail and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property. And we are on Facebook, Instagram, X, Tiktok Tok, YouTube.
