In Russia, a plan to increase doctors' salaries was scaled back because of a lack of money. According to deputy Alexei Kirini, the reform has lost its funding - and the 510 billion rubles accumulated for it will be used to cover the budget deficit: the government has put an end to all hopes and expectations of doctors and confiscated this money, the official said.
