One of the biggest weddings in history took place today in China – and it wasn't a billionaire who got married. The main figure is 24-year-old Xu Chenggong. He was left an orphan at age five – and after his grandmother's death, only his older brother remained. When Xu saved up for the wedding, he had no one to invite – so he reached out to everyone via social media. The result is that thousands of people decided to attend the wedding. They arrived from all over the country with livestock, fruits, refrigerators with food and flowers – the cellular operator set up a separate 5G station. Toastmasters, professional chefs, and organizers are also providing services free of charge – and local authorities arranged a venue.
