The former Mazda plant in Russia has launched production of smart TVs. Alter Inst started the production of smart TV on the premises of the former Mazda engine plant in Vladivostok. In the first phase, the company expects to produce up to 600,000 televisions per year. In the future they plan to double the number - to 1.2 million devices. For the purpose of implementing the project, a separate company was registered, and the main customer was the retailer DNS.
