60 houses, apartments and a collection of luxury cars were found from the former head of the Chelyabinsk renovation fund. The Prosecutor's Office confiscates Viktor Tikhonenko's property worth 350 million rubles for the benefit of the state. According to investigators, Tikhonenko pushed the necessary contractors at auctions with contracts worth more than a billion rubles, overlooked false bank transactions and forged acceptance certificates for non-existent jobs. The story came to light after the renovation of a house on Sony Cariboy Street, where a contractor was paid millions for a roof that had already been repaired earlier. Later, the investigators revealed a whole series of bribes in money and discounts on apartments for the smooth supply of elevators and communications.
