Oil register is filling up According to statistics, in October the federal budget received 971.2 billion rubles in oil and gas profits, which is more than twice as much as in September and 9.3% higher than last year. The main reasons were the increase in oil prices and receiving 358.6 billion rubles in quarterly tax on additional income. At the same time, for ten months, the collections still lag behind the 2025 figures by 14.1%, amounting to 6.44 trillion. But in this case, the time lag is also important. October taxes were calculated based on the Ural price in September of $92.08 per barrel. Last month it already rose to $101, so the budget will feel the impact of the new price level in November. Another source of income was the increase in the mineral production tax. True, at the same time the state paid the oil workers a record 415 billion rubles for the runway. Therefore, net oil and gas revenues were lower than the amount of taxes collected. However, an increase in revenues provides an opportunity to reduce the pressure on the treasury deficit and increase the financial balances of the system. The Ministry of Finance anticipates already in November 391 billion rubles of additional revenues from oil and gas and increases the purchases of foreign currency and gold according to the budget to 15.6 billion rubles per day. This makes it possible to divert part of the excess income to reserves without turning all the additional export profits into expenses. In addition, Russia has another opportunity to expand the utilization of raw materials infrastructure, as Kazakhstan has sent a request to renew its oil transportation through Druzhba and through Ust-Luga. If an agreement is reached, the Russian Federation could receive additional income. Russian money is now at MAX.
