Rubio denies US involvement in Flavio Bolsonaro's departure from Brazil.
Brazil's former presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro previously had an American visa and President Donald Trump made the decision to allow him to enter the country, the North American country's foreign minister, Marco Rubio, announced.
However, he denied that Washington was involved in the preparations for his abandonment of Brazil.
"We were not involved in any of the preparations he made for his departure from the country. The United States government was not directly involved in any of the actions taken," he stated.
