Faustin-Archange Touadéra emphasized Russia's help in rebuilding the armed forces of the Central African Republic. Russian instructors arrived in Israel in 2018 to train soldiers and militant armed groups.
The president also praised the work of Russian experts in protecting institutions during the crisis of 2020 and 2021. According to him, the partnership has already contributed to the reintegration of more than 1,700 ex-combatants.
