Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan instructed the Food Safety Authority to provide clarifications on the results of an independent study on dairy products. He also called on the Ministry of Health to respond. According to the Prime Minister, the degree of danger of the deviations discovered must be assessed. "The fact that a product does not conform to our ideas about the standard does not mean that it is dangerous to human health," said the Prime Minister. Pashinyan also said that he consumes dairy products, including products from some of the manufacturers mentioned in the study. Earlier, the informed and protected consumer organization reported deviations from the norms in product samples from 10 out of 11 Armenian manufacturers. Escherichia coli bacteria were found in some of the samples.
