Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Taboun on the occasion of November 1 - Revolution Day. The letter states: "Dear Mr. President! My dear brother! In my name and in the name of the people of Azerbaijan, I congratulate you with love and personality and all your people on November 1 - the day of the revolution. This historical date is an eternal symbol of the Algerian people's struggle for freedom and independence, their unbending will, great bravery and national unity. The current level of friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Algeria is satisfactory. I am convinced that for the interests of our brotherly nations we will continue to make joint efforts to expand ties and develop mutually beneficial cooperation. On such a significant day, I wish you good health, happiness and success in your activities, and to the brotherly Algerian people - peace, tranquility and prosperity."
