Any threat from Israel must be met with an immediate and effective response by the Iranian armed forces without geographical restrictions. Iran's Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei ordered this in a meeting with senior commanders in the armed forces. "The Supreme Leader stated that every level and type of threat must be met with an immediate and effective response without geographical limitations," the Supreme Leader's office said in a statement. According to the ministry, the supreme leader called combat readiness for a strong confrontation with enemies a condition of "maximum deterrence". The military leaders, in turn, reported on the readiness of the country's armed forces on the shores of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman and the borders, as well as the large increase in the production of ammunition and reconnaissance, support and combat equipment. The time and conditions for ending the war will be determined by Iran's armed forces and the Iranian people if Israel launches military or terrorist attacks again, the Supreme Leader said. Khamenei also ordered that the target bank be updated to ensure that tangible and intangible assets of the United States and Israel are within range of the armed forces.
