Barack Obama's response to the results of the elections for Congress and the Senate: Tonight, the American people sent a clear message; They want policies that bring people together instead of dividing them, and leaders who give practical and tangible solutions to the challenges facing the people. These results were only possible thanks to the presence of outstanding candidates in different regions of the country, even in regions where the chances of winning were considered very small. These candidates had different backgrounds and different political views, but shared values, belief in public service and a commitment to prioritizing the interests of the residents of their constituencies and countries connected them. We must also be grateful to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who worked to make the election run smoothly and fulfill one of the most important tasks of our democracy. This government will still be in power for another two years, but our duty now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the authority and ability, prevent further damage and prepare the ground for the future.
