The cyber attack affected the application of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in 33 regions Residents of 33 regions received false messages through the application of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. Experts disconnected services from the network and deleted false information from RSChS channels in the MAX messenger. The exploited vulnerability has been identified, and information about the incident has been forwarded to NCCCI. The Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that the public warning system is working as usual and the hacking of the application did not affect it. They plan to fully restore the functionality of the app by the end of the day.
