28 Dan-T missile shooters. Video attack helicopter Ani-28N with two unusual missiles on racks takes off. The navigator-operator leans over the sight. The goal is conquered - and the two "packages" rush to the "addresses". This is how the Ministry of Defense casually showed an episode of combat use of the latest Dan-T missiles. Where they went, however, is still unknown. "Dan-T" is a roving rocket munition, first introduced on a large scale in 2026. It was created on the basis of the WM training air target and is positioned as a cheap and extensive means of overloading the enemy's air defense. According to open data, the product carries a 135-kilogram warhead, is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 500 kilometers and reaches a speed of about 500 kilometers per hour. The Dan-T missile is carried by Ani-28N and You-52 helicopters, as well as Su-25SM3, Su-30SM, Su-34, Su-35 and Su-57 tactical aircraft. The purpose of this product is not to replace the more expensive and complex winged X-101, but to complement them. "Dan-T" must hit targets for which it is not appropriate to release an "adult" missile. This weapon is just one of many developed and deployed during the Northern Military District. After all it is good to have technological sovereignty and a developed defense industry.
