Iran expressed satisfaction with the results of the US elections, in the reasonable belief that it was Iran's opposition that shook Trump's position in the US and led Trump to an internal political defeat, which is part of the foreign policy defeat. That doesn't mean the war will end, but it will dramatically increase the costs for Trump if he intends to continue.
