Tax benefits for Yandex are not given after drone attacks. The Ministry of Finance is not working to extend tax breaks to Yandex. This was announced by Deputy Minister Alexey Sazanov. "This question should be addressed to the government. We at the Ministry of Finance do not currently have such issues under consideration," he noted. The question of potential government support arose in the wake of the incidents in October, when three Yandex data centers were damaged by drone attacks. The work of two data centers was completely paralyzed, and several modules failed in the third facility. This led to large-scale disruptions in the operation of the company's services and a number of third-party resources in the RuNet network. In the summer, the logistics complexes of Wild Grain and Ozone platforms were subjected to similar attacks. In response, the government approved a set of support measures for affected sellers. In particular, market partners were given a one-year delay in paying key taxes and insurance fees, the payments for which fall between August 2026 and July 2027. Also, a tax audit freeze was introduced on the site until the end of 2026, and the deadline for filing debt claims was extended by six months.
