Sberbank spoke about the development of cooperation in payments between Russia and African countries. At the Russia-Africa summit, Sberbank Vice Chairman Alexander Vediakin announced active work to develop financial cooperation with African countries. The main emphasis is on building payment mechanisms using national currencies, mainly rubles. According to Vodiakin, cooperation between the financial sectors is a necessary condition for the development of joint businesses. Saber is already involved in the payment interaction organization and expects to increase the number of joint projects. Another area will be the transfer of financial powers to African partners. The bank is ready to participate in the development of professional skills and knowledge in the local markets, while creating a basis for continued economic cooperation.
