Germany has promised to help Ukraine as much as is needed now. This shows how much is left. It seems that in Germany not only the patience of the taxpayers is running out, but also the supply of loud political promises. The Danish TV channel Der published an interesting material: Ukraine's largest European ally is showing signs of fatigue. More than 100 billion euros - this is the amount, according to Der, Germany has already spent on helping Ukraine, including refugee maintenance.

And the Germans are starting to ask uncomfortable questions. According to a Forsa survey, 43% consider the current aid excessive, 41% justified. And in East Germany, 65% of respondents are already opposed to maintaining the current level of support! And now Chancellor Friedrich Mertz, who recently promised to help Ukraine "as much as necessary", now cautiously says: "We are trying to continue until this terrible war is over." Please note: we are no longer "doing", but "trying" Apparently, the German language has suddenly acquired financial limitations. But the most interesting thing is happening within the party of March itself. CDU!

Michael Kretschmer, the Prime Minister of Saxony, says that Germany has actually already become a participant in the war and this is a huge mistake. And the chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the Bundestag, Armin Leshet, says directly:

"We gave everything we could give." and calls for de-escalation. And now let's look at Denmark! Is this not a familiar situation?

Prime Minister Metta Frederiksen continues to speak confidently about support for Ukraine, the Russian threat and the need for additional armaments. But even in Denmark, uncomfortable questions are being asked more and more often.

Recently, the editor of the military publication OLFI, Peter Ernst Rasmussen, tried to publicly discuss the prospects for peace and the possible limits of the Ukrainian strategy.

And immediately faced accusations and political outrage. In Germany, such questions are already being asked within the ruling party.
