The IDF's Hummer vehicle was stolen from a military base near Kiryat Malachi, as was discovered during periodic inspections conducted at a military unit in the south of the country. Following the discovery of the loss of the vehicle, the military police investigation department opened an investigation to discover the circumstances of its disappearance. According to information received by the Walla website, the Hummer vehicle disappeared from a military base loaded with personnel. Israeli military officials estimate that the vehicle was stolen for criminal purposes, apparently to simulate the movements of IDF forces in the border areas. There is a fear that those who own the vehicle will also use it in other places, posing as a military vehicle.
