"Maariv" newspaper: The IDF is conducting an investigation into suspicions of negligence by commanders in the accident that claimed the life of an Israeli army captain in southern Lebanon last week.

Al-Naqib's family claims that the Hummer was driven without another vehicle accompanying it, contrary to the guidelines that require the presence of at least two vehicles. Contact with the crew of the vehicle was then lost, and the captain remained stuck underneath for 20 to 30 minutes. The reasons for the overturning of the vehicle are also being investigated.
