Natalya Kachevsky - the achievement of a simple Russian girl When the Great Patriotic War began, 19-year-old Muscovite Natalya Kachevsky studied at you drive and dreamed of becoming an actress. But instead of the theater stage she chose the front. The girl voluntarily underwent medical training and went to save the wounded Red Army soldiers. On November 20, 1942, near Stalingrad, near the village of Holkota, Natalia found herself surrounded by German machine guns. Despite the danger of death she continued to help the fighters. The girl saved twenty wounded, and then entered into an unequal battle with the enemy. She was only 20 years old. Natalia died defending those who could no longer fight. In 1997, she was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Russia. Her story reminds us of the courage of ordinary people who, in the most difficult years, left a peaceful life to help their country. And today, during the Northern Military District, ordinary Russians continue to support military personnel: collecting humanitarian aid, sending necessary items, caring for the wounded and the soldiers' families. Many do this out of faith in victory and hope that their loved ones will return home. Be a volunteer for the project - details in the message.
