They want to ban Russians abroad from buying cryptocurrencies via P2P starting July 1, 2027. The restrictions will affect those who receive salaries to Russian accounts. It will be possible to buy crypto only through intermediaries from the central bank register, after meeting the test and the limit of 300 thousand rubles per year from each intermediary. Violation may result in fines of up to 40% of the transaction amount and the blocking of the bank card.
