52 pieces of real estate worth more than 300 million rubles were found from the former head of the Sverdlovsk regional branch of the federal state joint enterprise Passport and Visa Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Alexander Loknin. These are mainly apartments in luxury residential complexes. According to the prosecutor's office, while he was head of the branch since 2011, he simultaneously ran an immigration services business - foreigners paid twice, to the branch and to companies related to the official, whose total income exceeded 1.2 billion rubles. These funds, the department believes, were used to purchase real estate.
