Fraudsters can steal an account in the messenger or the state services using a new program attached to the clinic, warns the Ministry of the Interior. Attackers gain access to other people's accounts, design them as profiles of medical institutions and send messages with phishing links to add or unlink to a clinic. Clicking on the link leads to a fake website where you are asked to enter a SMS code and send it to the "clinic" chat. The department recalls that government agencies do not contact citizens through instant messengers and social networks to confirm or update data.
