The American oil companies earned more than 130 billion dollars during the six months of the war with Iran, their total profits almost tripled, the New York Times writes. More than 50 U.S. oil and gas companies received that amount from April to September 2026, up from less than $47 billion a year earlier. Revenues increased, among other things, because of global oil prices against the background of the war in the Middle East.
