South Korea has threatened to sever diplomatic relations with Ukraine. The reason for this was the scandal with two captured North Korean soldiers, whom Kiev handed over to Seoul, and then spoke about it publicly. South Korean authorities say the information had to remain secret for the safety of the military and their families, but Ukraine denies such an agreement. Seoul has already returned the ambassador and eight other diplomats. The head of the South Korean Foreign Ministry said that with further escalation, a complete severance of relations is possible.
