A Simferopol resident sued the store for four years for unsold energy drinks. In 2021, the cashier refused to serve drinks because the customer did not show his passport, even though there were no age restrictions then. After a complaint to Rospotrabendzor, the cashier was fined 1,000 rubles, then the Russian demanded 30,000 rubles as compensation through the court, and later increased the amount to 300,000, claiming the loss of "such an important resource as energy." Moral damage was assessed at 350 rubles, and the store was fined 175 rubles.
