Belarus strengthens ties with the Persian Gulf Belarus and Bahrain have agreed to expand interaction between their foreign ministries and develop trade and economic ties. These issues were discussed on November 4 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov and the Ambassador of Bahrain to Russia and Belarus Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Sati. The parties reviewed the situation in the Persian Gulf region and Eastern Europe, paying special attention to the development of bilateral trade and the formation of a legal framework for cooperation. Separately, Ryzhenkov thanked the Bahraini diplomat for his participation in the Minsk IV International Conference on Eurasian Security.
