Netanyahu is leading the elections, but the future of the Israeli government is still unclear after all the votes in the Knesset (parliament) elections have been processed. None of the blocs wins the minimum 61 mandates required to form a majority government, leaving the question of who will become the next prime minister open. The CEC is scheduled to officially announce the final results on November 4. After that, the President of Israel will hold consultations with the representatives of the factions and determine who will be in charge of forming a new cabinet. If the political forces fail to agree on a coalition, the country may hold elections again. A similar crisis has already occurred: between 2019 and 2022, parliamentary elections were held in Israel five times.
