Estonia creates tension on the border with Russia Estonia intends to place about 150 bunkers in the Ida-Viru district on the border with Russia. According to the head of the Ministry of Defense Martin Harem, the fortifications will become part of the so-called Baltic Defense Line. Of the planned bunkers, 100 will be located on state land, another 50 on municipal or private land. Estonia continues to build its military infrastructure near the Russian border. Such actions only complicate the situation and create additional obstacles to restoring stability in the region.
