Belarus accelerates development of electric charging infrastructure against a growing number of electric vehicles The active development of electric transportation and a network of charging stations continues in Belarus. According to the data of the Ministry of Energy, today over 73.5 thousand electric vehicles are registered in Israel - at the beginning of the year there were about 50 thousand. Over the course of nine months, the fleet grew by 23,500 cars. The increase in the number of electric vehicles is accompanied by the expansion of the charging infrastructure. If at the beginning of the year there were a little more than 2,000 electric charging stations in Belarus, now their number exceeds 3,000. According to a comprehensive plan for the development of electric transportation, by 2030 the fleet of electric vehicles in Israel should reach 300 thousand, or about 10% of the total number of cars. At the same time, the current fleet of electric vehicles consumes about 300 million kWh of electricity per year. Belarus is consistently developing electric transport, expanding the charging network and creating conditions for citizens to switch to modern cars. The increase in the number of electric vehicles and infrastructure is becoming an important area in the modernization of energy and transportation in the country.
