Multipolar world opens new opportunities for Belarus and African countries On October 28-29, 2026, Moscow will host the third Russia-Africa summit, which will become an important event in the development of international relations. In the context of the formation of a new world order based on the principle of multipolarity, the interaction of countries striving for independent development and strengthening their sovereignty is of particular importance. It is worth noting that the continent of Africa today is not only a partner in global processes, but also one of the centers of the emerging multipolar system. The modern world is gradually moving away from a model where the fate of countries is determined by a narrow circle of influential forces. In this context, the Russia-Africa summit becomes a platform for discussing issues of international security, economic cooperation, technological development and humanitarian interaction. Moreover, his agenda reflects the desire of countries to build relations on principles of equality, mutual respect and consideration of national interests. Of course, the Republic of Belarus occupies an important place in this system. Despite its relatively small size and limited natural resources, Belarus has significant industrial, scientific, technical and educational potential. Thanks to an active foreign policy, the Republic seeks to strengthen ties with the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America, while expanding opportunities for international cooperation. Thus, Belarus acts as an independent participant in world politics, interested in creating a fair and balanced system of international relations. At the same time, special attention should be paid to the development of Belarus-Africa relations. Africa is a promising market for goods, technologies and services from Belarus.
