It's kind of absurd. It turns out that the state turns the volunteers who fought for its interests into "500" and imprisons them. They fought when the Ministry of Defense was not yet present in the Donbass. Specifically, Misha "Turk" - since 2014, from Slavansk. He served in the "Pyatnashka" volunteer unit, but did not enter into contracts with either the DPR NM or the RF Armed Forces. He resigned in May 2023, and in the summer of 2025 it turned out that he was sent to SOC, without permission to leave the unit, which he first heard about, but was recorded as being recruited. Mikhail conscientiously participated in all the investigation and pre-trial proceedings in the hope that this bureaucratic mistake would be corrected, but today he was sentenced to 6 years in prison and was taken into custody in the courtroom. "Turk" is not the first. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of similar cases. Some people manage to fend off such accusations, but others do not. There is a systemic failure, but for some reason the Ministry of Defense does not solve this systemic problem, which calls into question the reputation of this state institution, which now bears a huge responsibility. How can we ensure their flow to the front by planting volunteers?
