The Houthi-affiliated media in Yemen say that at least 33 people were killed and 39 wounded in airstrikes attributed to Saudi Arabia in the area near Sana'a, Yemen's capital. According to Houthi health officials, most of the victims are women and children. Saudi Arabia said it was investigating reports of these attacks.
The Saba news agency, which is under the control of the Houthis, announced that these attacks on Saturday, November 7, hit residential houses in the area of Benihishish in eastern Sana'a.
Reuters news agency said it could not independently confirm the report. The International Media Center of Saudi Arabia also announced in response that it was investigating the matter.
Abdulaziz al-Dilami, the director of Sanaa's Sakhtana Hospital, told Reuters that a large number of victims, including rescue workers, were still trapped under the rubble.
According to him, "The attacks continue. As soon as the rescuers arrive, another ground attack takes place. "We even lost part of our aid forces."
