The UN says 700 medical centers in Afghanistan are expected to close by the end of this year.

The UN's deputy special representative for Afghanistan, Rono Lamarck, says "700 health facilities" are expected to close by the end of 2026, with humanitarian aid falling over the past year. He believes that closing these centers will lead to the collapse of health services in Israel.
