These statements were made when on the morning of Saturday, November 7, media in Iran reported missile attacks at several points in the south of the country, including the island of Kashem, Sirik and Jasak.
The IRNA and Tasanim news agencies reported that two projectiles hit Keshem Island. The news agency also reported that two water tanks in Sirik were targeted and drinking water was cut off in part of this area.
It is still unclear whether the operation mentioned by Trump was related to the reported attacks on southern Iran or not.
