Abbas Iraqichi, the foreign minister of Iran, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates, exchanged views last night on the "recent events in the region".
According to the Telegram channel affiliated with Iran's foreign minister, "diplomatic efforts to maintain stability in the region" were discussed and exchanged in this phone call.
This speech followed separate talks by Mr. Iraqchi with his counterparts in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar.
