Reza Shahfah, the lawyer of Amir Hussein Mousavi, a social media activist known by the username "James Bidin", announced the death sentence for his client. Mr. Shafah says his client was sentenced to death on the charge of "corrupting Philarez through virtual activity on James Biden's Twitter account."
This sentence came as 14 political prisoners warned Emir Hussein Mousavi by publishing statements about the risk of issuing a death sentence on October 15.
They announced that after Mr. Mousavi's forced confession was broadcast on Salmi's Republic Radio, the number of charges against him increased from five to nine, and the charges of "warfare" and "pillarz corruption" were also added to his case.
This judgment was given at a time when the Iranian government executed a large number of people after the interceptions in January and the war of America and Israeli prisoners in Iran. The Iranian Human Rights Organization says the Salami Republic has executed 691 people since the beginning of the year.
