The coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced the interception of a missile towards Medina; The Houthis denied.

The Saudi-led coalition, which is fighting the Houthis in Yemen, announced the interception of a missile en route to the Medina region and identified the Houthis as the ones who fired it.

This news was announced minutes after the Saudi Civil Defense Organization warned of a possible danger in the strategic port of Yanbu.

It is still unclear whether these two events are related or not.

In statements denying any ground attack on Medina, one of the cities of Muslim Jerusalem, the Houthis said: "Our attacks are only aimed at military bases and oil installations."

The Houthis have already emphasized that their forces will never harm Mecca and Madinah.
