The CEO of Tavnir Iran emphasized the stability of the electricity network in the winter evening; poultry farmers are worried about energy cuts.

🔻Mohamed Elhadad, CEO of Tavanir Company, who emphasizes the need to reduce losses in the electricity network and deal with unauthorized branches, announced that the implementation of the national program "Moonlight" saved an investment equivalent to 1.5 billion dollars in the construction of power plants and the development of electricity transmission lines.

He said at the 38th exercise of the Mehtab project in the Gilan district that this project helps to increase the stability of the electricity supply, including in critical conditions and peak consumption, through identifying unauthorized consumption, repairing connections and intelligent monitoring of the distribution network.

These statements are made while the poultry industry activists in Iran are being warned about the problems in supplying electricity and fuel in the cold season.

Parzad Talkash, Secretary General of the Iran Poultry Federation, previously said that the generators of the poultry farms can usually provide the electricity needed for these units for only two to three hours, and longer outages can cause heavy losses to the producers. The Poultry Growers Association also warned of the possibility of cutting off the gas of the rearing units between November 9 and 6.

A veteran poultry breeder also pointed to the increase in production costs and stated that the price of a day-old chicken is 500,000 tomans and says that some chicken breeders refuse or postpone hatching due to fear of an energy cut and the inability to provide heating in the halls in the winter.

Also, referring to the proposal to use solar panels, he expressed doubts about the effectiveness of this solution for the continuous supply of energy needed for poultry crops in the cold winter.

Earlier, during the attacks by the United States and the Iranian captives, the Iranian authorities announced the damage to more than two thousand points in the electricity production, transmission and distribution network; Damages that increased outages at the same time as the peak summer heat and more pressure on people's lives and the activity of industries have been postponed and now with the arrival of the cold season, it can put pressure on the people and industries of this country. In this context, the Minister of Energy said in May of this year that during the 40-day war, approximately 4,200 megawatts of electricity generation capacity were damaged. According to Iran's deputy energy minister, a total of nearly 7,000 megawatts of power plant capacity was damaged due to the US attacks.
