the electoral defeat of the Republicans; The beginning of disputes and accusations in the party.
Will Grant, BBC reporter.
After one of the heaviest electoral defeats of the Republicans in the last 30 years, the discussion of the reasons for the failure and the blaming of each other within this party began.
Voters across America made it clear before the election that their vote would be a judgment on Donald Trump's decision to go to war with Iran.
Now, some of Donald Trump's closest allies are distancing themselves from this war, most notably Jeddy Vance, the Vice President of the United States.
Mr Vance wrote on social media: "The reason we failed was the war, and any honest conversation about what to do next has to start at that point."
While speaking to reporters at the construction site of the new White House reception hall, Donald Trump reluctantly admitted that the war played a role in the Republican defeat.
However, he emphasized that if he returns he will not make a different decision. Donald Trump said: "Iran will not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons."
Many are interpreting the US vice president's statements as the unofficial start of his run for the 2028 presidential election.
The election results are also considered signs of the possibility of the beginning of the last season of the "MAGA" movement, the political movement of Donald Trump's supporters, during his leadership.
