Mohammed al-Thani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister of Qatar, spoke with his counterparts in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia about the latest developments in the region.
Qatar's foreign ministry said Mr Al Thani discussed efforts to reduce tensions and strengthen "security and stability in the region" in these separate phone calls.
The Prime Minister of Qatar also emphasized his support for all "diplomatic efforts and means".
