The International Committee of the Red Cross announced that on Wednesday, for the first time since the siege of Taiz by the Houthis, medical equipment was sent to this city.
The Red Cross said it had sent "four trucks carrying essential medical supplies" to the city of Taiz.
Hashem Othman, spokesman for the International Committee of the Red Cross, told AFP, "This is the first delivery of medical aid from the Red Cross to the hospitals in the city of Taiz since September 23."
The Houthi forces have been besieging Taiz for more than a month.
The UN has repeatedly warned about the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Taiz.
